Price:
10 day trip $4,300 USD plus tax
Dates:
Tour starts March 18, 2027 to March 27th, 2027.
Fly in and out prospectively on the day before and after.
The reason we are picking these dates is that it is right around the March equinox, and when the Sun is in a period of solar maximum, we will be more likely to see and photograph the dancing green lights of the Aurora. The total Golden Hour time exceeds 3 hours per day in Iceland.
Deposit:
$1,000 non-refundable deposit with the final balance due in January.
Travel:
Travel to and from Reykjavík, Iceland is on you. I can help look for flights if needed.
Travel around the island in rental SUV's is on us.
Hotel:
Accommodation is provided starting on March 18, 2027.
We will be booking a large house in South Central Iceland which will be our base for the duration.
If we venture East for a couple of days and daylight or weather isn't on our side, then we will book a hotel if required.
Meals:
Hot home cooked meals prepared by Chris and Laura will be provided on most days from the house which is included in the price. This all depends on our itinerary, as each day is never the same, but we will supply dinners and cook for you almost nearly every day.
Please let us know of any allergies in advance so we can cater accordingly.
We will also provide basic breakfast supplies, like cereal, milk, spreads and bread for toast.
Whilst on the road - lunches, the odd dinner, any snacks and refreshments are the guests' responsibility. There is always almost a supermarket enroute to and from the house so we will be happy to factor in a stop there should you want to pick anything up.
Additional:
All these magical locations don’t require endless amounts of driving to reach. The distances between interesting locations for photography are, in most cases, quite short which means you spend a lot more time photographing this jaw-dropping, unbelievable, beautiful landscape.
When we have down days (no Aurora to chase) these are just some of the locations we will travel to and explore:
